How does weekly licensing work?
Our artwork is licensed on a weekly basis. The licensing period begins on the day of pick-up and continues for seven days. The printing cost is included in the licensing cost. If the artwork is not returned by 5:00 p.m. on the day your order is due, you will be charged for an additional week licensing fee. We are sorry, but we do not offer weekend or one day licensing discounts.
What if I need a different size other than what's listed?
Many of our pieces are available in sizes not listed. Please email us with the piece you're interested in and we will let you know other sizing options available.
For Net 30 accounts we require:
- A completed Net 30 Account Application
- A signed Material Agreement
Can my production get extended licensing discounts?
We offer extended licensing discounts to our customers. Extended licensing discounts will be applied as follows:
1st week | Full price |
2nd week | 50% |
3rd week | 25% |
4th week | 25% |
5th+ week | 20% |
We are happy to discuss pricing for run of show, episodic and season licensing.
Can items be taken on "memo"?
We are a print-on-demand company. We do not allow items to be taken free of charge “on memo”.
What happens if I have an early return?
Production licensing is billed in their entirety during the first week of the licensing. Please make the confirmed licensing period/s, from ship to return clear on your order so we can bill correctly. We do not offer refunds if the artwork is returned early.
When can I send our truck to pick up?
At the time of confirmation, we can give you an estimate of when your order will be ready for pick up. Please allow enough time for us to prepare your order. Order readiness will depend on how busy we are. We cannot guarantee "rush orders".
What happens if I cancel an order after confirmation?
Confirmed orders that are canceled after they have been printed are subject to 100% of the printing cost and a 50% cancelation fee.
I am paying by credit/debit card. When will my card be charged? In order to expedite the release of your order, licensing fees and printing charge may be charged to your credit/debit card at the time of order confirmation.
Do you charge credit/debit card processing fees?
We do not charge credit/debit card processing fees with the exceptions below:
We do not charge credit/debit card processing fees with the exceptions below: Orders canceled after your credit/debit card has been run will be subject to a 3% processing fee. Requests to change the form of payment after a credit/debit card has been charged will be subject to a 3% processing fee.
What happens if my truck is late/ shoot dates have been postponed?
If we are not notified of your schedule change, all items that sit at the printer for more than 24 hours past the scheduled pick-up date are subject to a cancellation fee and 100% of printing costs. Orders that are canceled or delayed longer than 2 weeks after they have been printed will incur a 50% cancellation fee. We understand changes in your production schedule; please just let us know so we can work with you.
What happens if the artwork our show licensed is never on camera/used?
All items that have left our dock are considered “licensed” merchandise, and therefore billed accordingly.
What happens if I pay late?
If your production is on NET 30 terms and payment is not received within 30 days of the date you are invoiced, your NET 30 privileges will be revoked and you will be put on C.O.D. terms. We may hold any additional orders until payment from previous orders is fulfilled in full. Additional discounts applied to your order will be null and void. We reserve the right to charge 1.5% interest that accrues every 30-day period your payment is late.
How do I close out my account?
All licensed artwork are subject to check in. We will determine if there is any damage or loss as soon as possible. Please have a member of your department contact us to make sure your invoices have been paid in full or have valid Purchase Order Numbers (P.O.#’s) and that there are no outstanding items or damage. Extended licensing charges will accrue on missing items until your order is closed out and all outstanding items and loss/damage issues are resolved.
Can we paint on the surface of the print?
We only allow a clear gel medium to be applied for added texture. No other alterations are permitted.
Can I obtain the digital files and print them myself?
No. To protect our artists and artwork, we cannot send digital files directly to the production.
Can we purchase the original artwork found on the website?
We do not license original pieces. If you are interested in purchasing an original piece please reach out to us to connect you with the artists.
Who is ArtDey?
Serving primarily as a springboard platform, Artdey discovers, nurtures, and promotes emerging independent African artists. Since its conception, Artdey has successfully onboarded and managed multiple artists from Nigeria and Ghana. These artists are phenomenal, with extensive thematic and stylistic diversity. artdey is developing an international reputation as a hotspot for emerging artists. Notable pieces from Artdey were featured in Season 2 of Apple TV’s crime show “Truth Be Told” and Peacock’s “Bel-Air," an exciting, dramatic retelling of the popular sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.
Do you offer framing?
We do not offer framing at this time. Most of our prints fit standard-size frames. We encourage you to keep some spare frames in your kit of different sizes to accommodate more art from Lights Camera Art!
Do you offer delivery and installation?
We do not offer delivery or installation. We do offer shipping for a fee. We hope to offer delivery in the near future. If you’re in a bind - let us know and we’ll try to help you out.
